Tallinna XIX Graafikatriennaali finissage

19th Tallinn Print Triennial invites you to the finissage event on August 29 at 19:00 at the Lindakivi Cultural Center!

The final chapter of the triennial – a bonus track to the main exhibition – is a one-night event that brings together various time-based media and allows them to resonate separately, yet in unison. It is a conscious slowing down and focusing – a luxury rarely encountered in the screen speed of 2025.

Program:
🖇Tõnis Jürgens (EST) – 16 mm film that reveals moments and textures that are often not found in digital images.
🖇Doris Hallmägi (EST) – a world of sound recorded on magnetic tape.
🖇Lauri Lest (EST) – an installation-based sound and light performance created for the 19th Tallinn Print Triennial.
🖇Maria Mayland (DE) – a short film made from found footage and archive material.
🖇Zuza Banasińska (PL) – a short film made from found footage and archive images.
🖇Semjon Hanin (LV) – poetry accompanied by the artist’s invented instrument, the haphone.
🖇John Grzinich (EST/US) – sound performance with animated found photographs.

The focus of this evening is on separating the media and experiencing them in a concentrated form – film as film, sound as sound, words as words. This may seem retrospective, but it is precisely this that allows us to delve deeper and sharpen our attention.

Only once. Only here. Come and celebrate the end of the triennial with us, when time, sound, and image converge at the Lindakivi Cultural Center for one evening, after which only memories remain – and perhaps also the feeling that you were truly present for a moment.

The total duration of the event, including the intermission, is approximately 2.5 hours.

The finissage is part of the Tallinn Culture Night program.

The event is free.
