Applications are now open for Young Painter Prize 2026

Young Painter Prize (YPP) is a Baltic-based international competition dedicated to supporting emerging painters by offering them visibility, professional development opportunities, and international exposure.
 
Applications are open to artists aged 18–33 whose practice is primarily rooted in painting and who are citizens of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, or Ukraine, or permanent residents of Estonia, Latvia, or Lithuania. No formal art education or university degree is required.
 
An international jury will select 25 finalists to participate in the YPP 2026 exhibition programme. The finalists’ exhibition will open at Tallinn Art Hall in Lasnamäe from 11–27 September 2026, before travelling on to Riga and Klaipėda.
