Visitor information

Tallinn Art Hall’s exhibition programme can be experienced at three nearby exhibition halls – Tallinn Art Hall (Vabaduse väljak 8), the Art Hall Gallery (Vabaduse väljak 6) and Tallinn City Gallery (Harju 13).

Dear visitor!

According to the regulations of the government of the Republic of Estonia and Board of Health  (29.10.2021), all visitors of Tallinn Art Hall  (aged 18 and older), must present a document upon their arrival proving they have been vaccinated or have recovered from the virus.


Valid proof in digital or printed form:

  • Valid vaccination passport,
  • Certificate proving recovery from COVID-19 (valid for 180 days after a positive test).


In order to confirm your identity, the certificate is only valid with an identity document.


  • Please wear a mask. All visitors 12 years and older are required to wear masks.


As of November 1 st, visitors 12 to 17 years old must also submit COVID certificates to attend controlled activities. Besides proof of vaccination and proof of having had COVID, proof of a negative test result on a coronavirus PCR or antigen-RT test is also valid for access to events and activities by minors. The PCR test must be performed no more than 72 hours, and the antigen-RT test no more than 48 hours, before the event or activity, and the test must be performed by a healthcare provider. In addition, the results of rapid antigen tests performed in general pharmacies will be accepted.

The exhibition space of the Tallinn Art Hall (Vabaduse väljak 8) is located on the first floor, and it can be accessed by lift. An access card is available from the Art Hall cashier, and the instructions and directions provided by the cashier should be followed.


The lift can accommodate a wheelchair with a maximum size of 76 cm (width) x 86 cm (depth). This is a restored and adapted lift that dates back to the time when the building was constructed.


The wheelchair-accessible WC is located near the cashier on the ground floor, and its door is 66 cm wide.

The Art Hall Gallery (Vabaduse väljak 6) and Tallinn City Gallery (Harju 13) are located on the ground floor and are accessible from the street.

The exhibition spaces are located 1 minute walking distance from each other.
